With a degree in photojournalism, Smith strived to detail everything from editorial subjects, special events and professional sports early in his career.
Scott's true passion and specialty is architectural photography, specifically the categories of healthcare facility photography and luxury real estate photography. He relishes and thrives on challenges to interpret unique designs for the architect and builder. Complimenting and rounding out his stable of architectural expertise is over twenty years of aerial photography experience.
One of his larger commercial architecture projects in the late 1990s involved the architectural firm of Arquitectonica. They designed the American Airlines Arena and retained Scott to document the construction from foundation through to opening night in January of 2000.
He is known, too, for documenting historic structures, including the demolished Orange Bowl Stadium in Miami, and captured the last days of the famous stadium from an architectural point of view. You can see some of those unique and exclusive images of the iconic football stadium on this site. As a result of that personal project, he published a 133 page book with over 200 color and B&W photos; "The Orange Bowl, A Photographic Journey & Architectural Survey." (Click Here to Purchase).

Beginning with his enlistment in the U.S. Air Force, Scott has traveled his entire life and enjoys working on location, feeling comfortable in all parts of the world. Able to quickly adapt to his surroundings, his grace under pressure sets him apart.
